BUSINESS FORUM – Mind Fitness

by jododds on 15 January 2012

Tuesday 24th January 2012
Hall Place Enterprise Centre

“The greatest discovery of our generation is that human beings, by changing the inner attitude of their mind, can change the outer aspects of their lives‟
Williams James c1890

To Kick-Start the New Year, the Business Forum starts with a presentation on Mind Fitness. In today’s extremely demanding environment, being able to perform to your best, inspire and engage with others, is an increasingly complex process, whether it be in teams, networks or complex relationships. Graham Williams from Performance Specialist will give us some ideas of how to keep our minds active, fit and help us generate personal power.

The four big ideas that will be explored are:
 The importance of using the whole brain and not just the cognitive or emotional parts.
 The power of using natural (implicit) learning as well as educated (explicit) learning.
 How to identify personal strengths and develop new ones and turn them into actions.

Mind Fitness is a simple yet powerful concept which can provide drive and determination, so make this Forum one of your New Year’s resolutions!
